No. The front membrane and lens protector are made from scratch-resistant, impact-tested PET or polycarbonate material. They’ve passed drop tests, abrasion tests, and aging tests, ensuring reliable protection even in harsh environments.

Q3: Why choose a plastic housing instead of full metal?
Plastic housings are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and signal-friendly. Unlike metal, they do not block Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or GPS, allowing you to stay connected while keeping your phone safe.

Q4: How waterproof is the ShellBox Case?
ShellBox Case meets IP68 waterproof standards, supporting full submersion in water up to 1.5–2 meters for 30 minutes (depending on the model). It’s ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and outdoor adventures—but not recommended for professional diving.

Q5: Is it also shockproof and dustproof?
Yes. Each ShellBox Case provides military-grade drop protection (MIL-STD-810G), along with dustproof and snowproof sealing to protect against extreme conditions.

Q6: Can I use my touchscreen while the case is on?
Yes. The built-in sensitive front film allows full touchscreen control. For better responsiveness, ensure your screen is clean and remove any additional screen protector before installation.

Q7: Can it be operated with gloves?
It works with most thin conductive or wet gloves. For thick winter or diving gloves, sensitivity may decrease slightly.

Q9: Can I use the camera underwater?
Yes. The built-in HD transparent lens cover allows you to take clear photos and videos underwater. For best results, test the camera before submersion and rinse the case after use.

Q10: Can I charge my phone without removing the case?
